The National University of Music Bucharest is launching a new joint online course in partnership with The Hague Royal Conservatoire, titled *Cross-Traditional Perspectives on Byzantine and Gregorian Chant*, as part of the IN.TUNE European Alliance (Innovative Universities in Music and Arts in Europe).
Designed for first-year Master students, the course (5 ECTS) will take place during the second semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. It offers a comparative exploration of Byzantine and Gregorian traditions through theoretical study, manuscript analysis, performance practice, and composition. Activities will be conducted online, and the final project will bring together students from both institutions for a collaborative artistic experience, using the MVTP platform for real-time musical performance.
Through this initiative, UNMB continues to expand its international educational offerings and foster academic and artistic collaboration within the IN.TUNE Alliance.
